Noble Hill - Merlot image
A delicious 100% Merlot from Noble Hill. Nice red fruit and smooth finish. Now drank with still considerable storage potential. This Merlot ripens for 18 months in French oak, giving it a firm red wine with notes of red fruit and plums. Now drink and enjoy with red meat or cheese. Save potentially at least 10 years. A rebel with a cause: you'll see why this Merlot is James Dean as Jim Stark, cavorting with Cabs while other Merlots dabble in “easy-drinking fruitiness.” Black cherry, dark plum, and a full mouth-feel.
Noble Hill - Estate Blend (Bordeaux Blend) image
A Bordeaux Blend, at its most basic, is any combination of those grape varieties typically used to make the red wines of Bordeaux. Red Bordeaux Blends are known for their powerful structure and deep flavors. Dark fruits and berries such as plum and blackcurrant are commonly used to describe the flavors of red Bordeaux, although there is an unlimited range of terms that have been ascribed to them. Tannins tend to be relatively high in these wines, giving them a firm structure. We make wines that are juicy yet structured, elegant, and above all unique to the place they are made. Our estate reserve puts to practice the knowledge, dedication, and intuition of our entire enterprise.
