Jasmine tea is possibly the most popular Chinese tea served in Chinese restaurants. Being a semi-fermented tea, like green tea, contains many active ingredients that have remedial effects to our body although to a lesser extent. Jasmine tea has the added fragrance of real jasmine flowers that is both soothing and relaxing, making this Chinese tea popular choice worldwide.
How to brew
Use one teabag per cup/mug, fill with boiled water of not more than 85C. This is the best temperature for extracting the tea flavour. Infuse for 3-5minutes, remove the teabag and serve. Serve without sugar/milk. The same teabag maybe used a second time if a tea cup is used.
