Further information

PRAMAC offers a wide array of backup / emergency and prime power solutions to meet your needs.

Today’s modern power plants need to be kept operating twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Keeping the power on is all-important and any kind of power interruption is very disruptive to industrial process and wreaks havoc with the production schedules.

The main PRAMAC power plants projects, related to power needs in continuous & prime power supply, have been developed in Italy with dismantling of old generators and new gensets installation. In Africa, we provided generators to run for up to 18 hours a day and supply more than 40 megawatts of electricity for the remote construction site extending over several kilometers. In Chile, we supplied power up to 24 hours a day, during mining operations generating more than 5 megawatts of electricity. In Formentera (Spain) PRAMAC provided generators running in parallel and connected to the national electrical grid.

Power plants are all over the world and could experience any sort of power outage. This is why using diesel generators, as a source of backup or standby power, is always a winning choice.

When the power plant experiences a loss, the generators receive a signal to begin powering up, thus providing their own backup source.

The main power plants projects of PRAMAC related to power needs in backup have been created in Morocco, UK and France, with the aim of maintaining power to large areas for several hours in the event of a power emergency.
