Buffer 5 - Acidifying Spray Adjuvant

Buffer 5:

• Contains a buffering system that , when applied correctly will buffer the majority of spray solution between a pH of 4.5 and 5.5 depending on water quality.
• Contains a wetting agent which improves the wetting, spreading and contact of the remedy on the sprayed plant surfaces.
• Increases the rate of uptake of systemic remedies and foliar feeds
• Assists in the neutralisation of dissolved salts that influence product performance.
• Helps prevent the rapid degradation of alkaline-sensitive remedies
• Retards evaporation rate and improves re-wetting of the dried spray droplets.

Suggested rates of application:

Buffer with herbicides and systemic fungicides:

• pH range: 4.5 - 5.5
• Rate per 100 Lt water: 123 - 250 ml

Buffer with Glyphosate:

• pH range: 3.5 - 4.5
• Rate per 100 Lt: 100 - 150 ml

Note: The above suggested rates of application should be used as a guide only.

Application rates may be affected by water quality. It is advisable to routinely check the pH of the spray tank water before and after the incorporation of Buffer 5.

Precautionary statement:

• Keep locked up and out of reach of children and uninformed adults.
• Avoid prolonged contact with concentrated product.
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes or inhalation or ingestion.
• In case of contact with eyes. Flush immediately with water for at least 10 minutes.
• In case of skin contact, wash affected area with soap and water.
• Rinse the empty container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 10% of that of the container before destroying the container.
• Do not use empty container for any other purpose.
• Prevent contamination of food, feeds, drinking water and eating utensils.

Emergency Information: In case of emergency, contact the nearest hospital or call the local poison centre.

First AID:

• In case of contact with eyes: Rinse with clean flowing water with eyes open for at least 15 minutes and contact a doctor.
• In case of inhalation: move the injured party to fresh air and contact a doctor. If person is not breathing, administer artificial respiration.
• In case of contact with skin: Remove clothing suspected of contamination and rinse affected area well with soap and water and contact a doctor.
• In case of Ingestion: Contact a doctor immediately and show him/her the label on the container.
• Nothing should be put into an unconscious person's mouth.

Hazard statement:

• Harmful to aquatic life.
