Glimpses from the Life of Joseph - From the Pit to the Pinnacle

Glimpses from the Life of Joseph - From the Pit to the Pinnacle

Joseph is one of the favourite Bible characters for the many people who identify their lives to that of his. The struggles that Joseph overcame, namely, a broken family and betrayal by his brothers, the pit, slavery, removal from his home and country at seventeen years of age, Mrs Potiphar, prison and cupbearer, represent the struggles of many Christians today. In this book, you will find some fresh perspectives on Joseph's life. The author has not just highlighted biblical principles from the life of Joseph but he has paid attention to the context of the Bible narrative for a better appreciation of joseph's life. The author has exposed some perspectives of Jewish tradition and the original ancient Near East socio-cultural setting in which the story is situated. The book seeks to encourage seekers that God is sovereign and he created humans for a divine purpose. While the process to the purpose may be unknown, you can patiently trust in His divine providence and power to work through everything for your good. Your current condition is not your final destination. Joseph overcame all odds and rose from the pit to the pinnacle.
