GENERAL INFORMATION

Harness 900EC is a selective herbicide, absorbed mainly by the roots of germinating plants. It is used pre-emergence or pre-plant to control annual grass, certain annual broadleaved weeds and yellow nutsedge in maize, peanuts, soybeans, cotton, potatoes and sugarcane

FIRST AID

General Advice

In case of accident or unwellness, seek medical advice immediately.

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. Call a physician.

Skin Contact

Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothing and shoes. Consult a physician if necessary.

Eye Contact

Immediately flush with plenty of water. After initial flushing, remove any contact lenses and continue flushing for at least 15 minutes. Keep eyes wide open while rinsing. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

Ingestion

  • DO NOT induce vomiting, rinse mouth, drink plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN

There is no specific antidote. All treatment should be based on observed signs and symptoms of distress in the patient. Overexposure to material other than this product may have occurred. Treat symptomatically

STORAGE

Store in the closed, original container and cool, well-ventilated area. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Store in a locked room or place away from children, animals, flood, feedstuffs, seed and fertilizers.

DISPOSAL OF PRODUCT

Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with chemical or used containers. Do not dispose of the waste in the sewer. Where possible recycling is preferred for disposal. If recycling is not practicable, dispose of in compliance with local regulations

DISPOSAL OF PACKING

Empty remaining contents. Triple-rinse containers. Empty containers should be taken for local recycling or waste disposal. Do not re-use empty containers

WEED CONTROL

  • The efficiency of this product on some broadleaf weeds will be variable depending on the conditions. Spraying must take place within 2 days after planting and with sufficient continual wetting of the soil by irrigation, applying at least 15mm of irrigation on light soil and 25mm to heavy soil
