You can also drink gin with a splash of soda water or ginger ale. If you enjoy martinis, mix gin and vermouth make a gin martini.

Gin is a distilled spirit that is made from grain and flavoured with botanicals. It comes in different styles and flavours. Accordingly, it can be infused with a variety of herbs, botanicals, and spices. The alcohol percentage of Gin ranges between 40 percent and 47 percent alcohol by volume (ABV, 80 to 94 proof).

It's not surprising that all types of berries have made it onto every gin and tonic food pairing list ever made. Blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, raspberries—you name it and that berry will pair well. Sweet berries balance out the kick of the quinine in the tonic and the juniper of the gin.
