All products are made in two trusty stills – named Mildred and Maude – that are the first to be licensed by the City of Cape Town. To make their artisanal spirits, the owners use South African barley, allow fermentation for a few days and then use a triple distillation process to come up with their base neutral single malt vodka. From this, a wide range of vodkas and gins are crafted: London Dry Gin, Salt River Gin, Mediterranean Gin, Small Batch Vodka and Lucy’s Last of Summer Vodka. They are all unique in taste and character.
Journey's End is owned by the Gabb family and is situated off the Sir Lowry’s Pass Road in the coastal Somerset West area, with vineyards on the Schapenberg hills overlooking False Bay benefiting from the on-and offshore winds. The team produces four varietal wines, and in 2009 this was expanded to include two super-premium wines: a cabernet sauvignon called The Cape Doctor, named after the south-easterly wind that cools and protects the vineyard, and an oak-aged chardonnay called Destination.
Longridge Wine Estate is one of South Africa's most important wine-growing companies and is located in the Stellenbosch region on the slopes of Mount Helderberg. The soil is predominantly composed of decomposed granite, iron and clay. The climate is Mediterranean with constant breezes coming from nearby False Bay to freshen the vines at night, allowing a perfect thermal excursion. In the vineyard, bio-dynamic techniques are practiced going beyond the ecological concept to preserve and sustain the ecosystem. Flocks of geese roam free between the vineyards protecting them from insects and other parasites, while the rest of the livestock produces manure from which the compost that feeds the plants is obtained. Within the farm there is also a restaurant serving fruits and vegetables from the adjacent orchard, which are produced using permaculture techniques.

Sarah’s Creek wines are sourced and produced on a scenic, family-owned farm, nestled in the picturesque Robertson Wine Valley. The Robertson Wine Valley is known for its different terroirs and soil types. Vineyards grown to produce these wines range from high slopes against the Langeberg mountain to site-specific terroirs that enhance the natural flavours of each varietal. Each varietal was planted considering the soil type, slope, sun exposure, microclimate, and rootstock. These factors, together with the winemaking practice, is what defines our unique wines.
In 1993 Paul Boutinot commenced his search for a vineyard site with the potential to produce truly fine wine with a defining sense of origin. The classic areas, capable of growing naturally balanced grapes such as the Cote d’Or, Chablis, Paulliac, Barolo, etc. were either unavailable or unattainable so he had to find a new classic. It took ten years to narrow the search down to a small area on the south-facing slopes of the Schapenberg, overlooking False Bay in the Cape. As soon as he was led up a steep ravine opening out into a hidden amphitheatre of potential, all his experience and intuition told him: Waterkloof was born, and the hard work began
