If you currently have an empty cylinder, then all you need is a gas refill. Simply exchange your empty bottle for your new cylinder upon delivery. If you don’t have an empty cylinder, you will need to purchase a new cylinder. Ogaz will give you a cylinder refill agreement for your purchase.

What is a cylinder refill agreement?

When you first purchase an Ogaz gas cylinder, you are issued with a refill agreement charge. All Ogaz gas cylinders remain Ogaz’s property for the duration of use and this allows Ogaz to exchange cylinders included in your order with supplies of gas.

Ogaz will refill gas cylinders by providing you with a pre-filled Cylinder in exchange for the empty cylinder. A cylinder can only be exchanged for a similar replacement bottle.

Here are a few helpful Dos & Don't for handling gas cylinders:

DO:

Check cylinder and appliance seals
Check the valve area for dirt
Always keep the cylinder upright while attaching the regulator
Ensure that you keep the cylinder away from naked flames
Take your empty cylinder back to Ogaz so they can discard or scrap as they see fit
Refill with them once you are ready,
Let appliance cool after use
Check for leaks by:
Applying soap water to connections and look for bubbles,
Listen for hiss of escaping gas

DON’T:

Use tools to tighten the valve
Use cylinders with a damaged valve or seal
Use if there has been evidence of a leak
Stand a cylinder on a stove or expose it to heat
Leave on when sleeping
Puncture or attempt to cut the cylinder into pieces
Refill a cylinder from another cylinder that has been inverted
In the event of a fire, be sure to:
Leave the area in a calm and quick manner
Let the cylinder burn out
Call for emergency help
