PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS

FIRST AID

General Advice

If poisoning is suspected, immediately contact a physician, the nearest arest Poison Control Center

If swallowed

If the victim is fully conscious, immediately give 1-2 glasses of water to drink and induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Apply artificial respiration if necessary. Seek medical attention immediately

Skin Contact

Remove contaminated clothing, and wash before reuse. Wash thoroughly, with plenty of soap and water, including hair and under fingernails. DO NOT apply any medicating agents except on the advice of a physician. Get medical attention immediately if irritation persists.

Eye Exposure

Immediately flush the contaminated eyes with large amounts of running water. Hold eyelids apart to rinse the entire surface of the eye and lids. DO NOT apply any medicating agents except on the advice of a physician. Get medical attention immediately if irritation persists

STORAGE

Store in the closed, original container and cool, well-ventilated are. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Store in a locked room or place away from children, animals, flood, feedstuffs, seed and fertilizers

DISPOSAL OF PRODUCT

Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with chemical or used containers. Do not dispose of the waste in the sewer. Where possible recycling is preferred for disposal. If recycling is not practicable, dispose of in compliance with local regulations

DISPOSAL OF PACKING

Empty remaining contents. Triple-rinse containers. Empty containers should be taken for local recycling or waste disposal. Do not re-use empty containers

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Chaser 500SC is both a pre-emergent and early post-emergent action (up to 4 leaf stage) in maize. It controls a wide spectrum of broadleaf weeds and annual grasses. The rate of application depends on the soil type. Soils with greater organic matter will require a high dosage rate.

RATE OF APPLICATION - in a volume of 200-300 litres of water/HA

• Light Sands 3 litres/Ha
• Heavy Clays 5-9 litres/Ha
• Clay Loams 1 litre/Ha

TIME OF APPLICATION

Pre-Emergence

• Chaser 500SC may be applied post-planting onto wet soil. Rain should fall within 24 hours post application for best results. If soil is very dry or there is no rainfall within 7 days, then it is advisable to carry out superficial incorporation using a light harrow or similar equipment

Pre Harvest

• Chaser 500SC can also be applied early post-emergence of weeds up to one leaf stage of maize crop. It should always be applied onto wet soil or treated areas should receive rainfall within 24 hours post application for best results
