Middle & Reception Registration Fee

The Cherry Hills “Middle Class” provides a bridge between the youngest learners and the transition to a more formalised teaching and learning that begins at the kindergarten stage. This class is primarily for 4-year-old children, who look to cement their conceptual understanding of the basic literacy and numeracy skills needed for a firm foundation as they progress onto their primary education. The “Reception Class” at Cherry Hills is aimed at 5-year-old children, who have already mastered number and letter recognition, writing of the letters and numbers and the beginnings of reading 2 and 3-letter words. In this class, we look to transition learners into the UK National Curriculum, E.Y.F.S (Early Years Foundation Stage) in readiness for their progression into our primary programme of instruction.
