There are in Zambia four basic types of real estate. Residential real estate: These include both new construction and resale homes. Residential real estate
Residential real estate may contain either a single-family or multifamily structure that is available for occupation or for non-business purposes.
Residences can be classified by how they are connected to neighbouring residences and land. Different types of housing tenure can be used for the same physical type. For example, connected residences might be owned by a single entity and leased out, or owned separately with an agreement covering the relationship between units and common areas and concerns
Land able to be used for farming is called cultivable land. Farmland, meanwhile, is used variously in reference to all agricultural land, to all cultivable land, or just to the newly restricted sense of "arable land". A business qualifies as a farm if it is actively cultivating, operating or managing land for profit. A farm includes livestock, dairy, poultry, fish, vegetables and fruit.
